In Exeter on 18 October 2013, Canon Anna Norman-Walker, Canon Missioner, invited us in to mark the Feast of St Francis of Assissi. At the Nave Altar she read, prayed, and blessed us. Strider is probably the most blessed horse in England. We set off on 10 May to Gloucester, Hereford, Worcester, Coventry, Lichfield, Chester, Sheffield, Carlisle, Durham, Ripon, York, Lincoln, Southwell, Peterborough, Ely, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, St Albans, St Pauls, Southwark, Rochester, Canterbury, Chichester, Winchester, Salisbury, Exeter, Truro, Wells, Bristol, Oxford and home via Gloucester and, for a bonus, Tewkesbury Abbey. We came home on 8 December. We had no back up vehicle or crew and generally travelled alone.
